Residential Solar Solutions
Compare Qbits residential inverter families by system type, phase, PV limits, backup needs, monitoring options and current documents.
Solar Power for Your Home
Pick the inverter that fits your connection, roof and backup needs.
Qbits publishes compact on-grid and hybrid inverter families for residential solar. The correct model depends on sanctioned load, phase connection, PV string voltage and current, roof layout, backup requirement, and local approval conditions.
Published maximum efficiency runs from 97.6% to 98.7% by model across the on-grid and hybrid families listed here. Monitoring, communications, net-metering acceptance, battery compatibility, and warranty terms must be verified for the exact model and project.
Compare home inverter models
Every single-phase family is listed, along with the three-phase families that start at 12 kW or below. The kW figure is the range across the family, and efficiency is the maximum figure quoted for it. Confirm the exact rating on the datasheet.

How to choose an inverter for your home
On-grid or hybrid
On-grid inverters feed your home and the grid and are the simpler, lower-cost route when outages are short or rare. Hybrid inverters add a battery for backup. On-grid versus hybrid sets out when each makes sense.
Single-phase or three-phase
Most homes have a single-phase supply and need a single-phase inverter. Larger homes and some villas have a three-phase connection. Check your electricity bill or meter, and read single versus three phase if you are unsure.
Size to the sanctioned load
Many DISCOMs limit rooftop solar to the sanctioned load on your connection, so note that figure first. Then match the inverter to the panel array you plan to install. The guide to inverters by home size shows how kW ratings map to typical homes, and the home inverter checklist covers the rest.
MPPTs for roofs with more than one direction
If panels will face two directions or part of the roof is shaded, a model with two MPPTs gives more design freedom than one with a single input. Compare the MPPT column above, then check the string layout in the string sizing calculator.
Many DISCOMs check the inverter model before approving net metering. DISCOM approval for solar inverters explains how to check yours. Installers and dealers who want to supply Qbits inverters can apply to become a partner.
Built for Indian Homes
1.5-12 kW Published Range
Residential options include on-grid and hybrid families. Choose the exact model from the site design and phase connection.
Grid-Export Compatibility
Grid export depends on DISCOM approval, the sanctioned connection, metering, and the accepted inverter documents.
Model-Specific Monitoring
Confirm the communication hardware, monitored values, app access and network requirements for the exact model.
Installation Planning
Verify mounting clearances, environmental limits, access and structural support against the exact installation manual.
Written Warranty Terms
Obtain the current duration, remedy, registration rules, exclusions, and service responsibilities for the exact model.
Monitoring Options
Product data lists Wi-Fi monitoring on the on-grid and some hybrid families, with optional RS485 or GPRS on the on-grid models. Confirm the supported interface for your model.
Home Types and What to Check
Site-specific
Independent House
Size the inverter from sanctioned load, roof, array design, consumption and any backup requirement.
Site-specific
Apartments
Shared roofs, balconies, and common areas need society permission, structural checks, and DISCOM approval where applicable.
Site-specific
Farm Houses
Remote sites need a documented grid, generator, battery and load-control design.
Site-specific
Gated Communities
Common-area systems require load, connection, roof-rights, metering and approval checks.
Check Your String Layout
Use the string sizing calculator to check a panel and inverter string layout against stored module and inverter data. It does not estimate savings; read how to choose an inverter for a home first.
