A grid-connected inverter must operate within the limits approved for its exact model and connection. “India tuned” is not a measurable specification by itself. Buyers and EPCs should request the model documents, applicable certificates, approved settings, and commissioning record rather than relying on a brand-level voltage claim.
Separate DC limits from AC grid limits
The MPPT window and maximum DC voltage apply to the PV array side. The AC operating and protection limits apply to the grid side. Confusing those values can produce an unsafe string design or an incorrect grid setting. Use the exact module and inverter documents for string calculations.
Qbits publishes different MPPT ranges, starting voltages, maximum DC voltages, current limits, and AC grid ranges across its families. A value from one TLS, TLD, TLC, Pro, Plus, EHV, or QBH document must not be carried across the range.
Evidence to request
| Evidence | What it should establish |
|---|---|
| Exact model datasheet | Rated electrical limits and communication options |
| Installation manual | Permitted settings, protection, wiring and commissioning method |
| Current certificate or test report | Exact model coverage, standard, issuing body and validity |
| DISCOM or project requirement | Connection-specific limits and documentation |
| Commissioning record | Settings actually applied and tests completed |
| Site measurements | Grid voltage, frequency, harmonics and event history at the connection point |
How to handle repeated grid trips
Record the fault exactly as displayed, the time, grid measurements if safely available, and the model and firmware version. A qualified technician should determine whether the cause is the utility supply, conductor voltage rise, an installation issue, an incorrect setting, or an equipment fault.
Firmware and protection settings
Firmware can affect grid protection, control, monitoring, and compatibility. Qbits does not publish a public release-note archive, update matrix, or universal settings file. Obtain the approved firmware and procedure for the exact SKU. Back up settings and record the pre-update and post-update versions when the manufacturer or qualified service party authorises an update.
